Job details
The Studio Manager is responsible for studio operations on a daily basis. The successful candidate enjoys being involved with customers and must be a fitness enthusiast!
Leadership
Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Manage daily operations and set a positive tone for the team.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff with a focus on front desk processes.
Ensure studio maintenance and cleanliness.
Build strong relationships with instructors, staff, and the community.
Recognize achievements, celebrate wins, and foster team motivation.
Manage change effectively, guiding the team through transitions.
Client Experience
Lead by example in providing outstanding service to support retention.
Guide clients in class selection and goals; train staff to do the same.
Oversee check-ins, registrations, and client accounts in studio systems (e.g., MarianaTek).
Manage billing processes (contracts, cancellations, freezes, payments).
Resolve client concerns with professionalism under pressure.
Build lasting relationships to foster loyalty and community.
Operations
Manage supplies, vendors, scheduling, and retail operations.
Oversee retail product ordering, merchandising, and staff training.
Ensure compliance with studio and company policies.
Adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and initiatives.
Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
Execute company-wide initiatives at the studio level.
Skill Sets
Positive, energetic leader who motivates teams and leads by example
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Skilled at conflict resolution and customer service
Tech-savvy and quick to learn studio software (e.g., MarianaTek, Google Suite)
Passionate about fitness and confident explaining programs
Qualifications
Leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable managing staff, clients, and operations simultaneously
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and travel between studio locations
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
Fitness studio: 2 years (Preferred)
